Imran Khan refuses to take a lie detector test

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan has refused to undergo a polygraph (lie detector test) and voice matching test as part of the investigation launched by the Lahore Police regarding the May 9 cases. . A 12-member team has been formed under the leadership of DSP Javed. Asif, along with officials from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA), reached the Adiala Jail, where Mr. Khan has been lodged for almost a year. The team comprised of Investigating Officers (IOs) and PFSA experts Abid Ayub and Insp. Waqas Khalid tried to interrogate the former prime minister and conduct necessary tests.Imran Khan resisted attempts by the Lahore Police to conduct lie-detector tests, voice-matching and photography tests.”I am under scrutiny by various agencies and will not undergo any tests at present. I will give time to the police for these tests later,” he announced, reprimanding experts from the Punjab Forensic Science Agency. Did the investigation team visit the Adiala jail, where the former prime minister is lodged, initially, the PTI chairman clashed, citing a lack of confidence in the police.DSP Javed Asif then appealed to Imran and assured him that justice would be served. After this assurance, the PTI founder broke his silence and answered questions for about 15 minutes.
